Is it really too much to ask for our Finance Minister not to invite panic when the markets are on the edge of a wholesale meltdown and our economy is in a somewhat fragile state. Raising the spectre that Ontario, which is still pretty much the engine for the Canadian economy, could become a "have not" province in just a couple of years does nothing to calm the markets frazzled nerves. Instead, maybe he could focus on developing and implementing policies that will help the manufacturing sector regain strength. Otherwise shut up and get out of the way. What an idiot. Really they should start giving these guys a test to make sure that they can meet a minimum intelligence threshold. I don't think Flaherty is qualified to manage a hot dog stand let alone our economy. Even the Republicans are smart enough not to cause further panic. Again, do us a favour and just shut up!
